Clinical
Valley Health has a full-time position available for an experienced Nurse Practitioner at its 10th Street location in Huntington, WV. This position provides comprehensive primary care to patients with multiple chronic conditions that may also be experiencing homelessness or other barriers to health. Valley Health has a full-time position open for a LPN at Valley Health – Huntington. The successful candidate must be energetic and possess the ability to work as part of the team to provide quality patient care. Some evening hours may be required. Current WV LPN licensure is required.
A part-time position is now available for a Lab Technician at Valley Health-Diagnostics. Qualifications: BS or AAS in Medical Lab Technology or Clinical Lab Science with current WV licensure. Duties will include: routine laboratory analysis, collecting and processing, maintaining positive specimen identification throughout testing and reporting process, instrument troubleshooting, maintaining appropriate records, preparation of reagents and solutions and appropriate reporting of laboratory results.
Non-Clinical
Valley Health now has a full-time position available for a Referral Specialist at Valley Health- Hurricane. Applicant must have medical experience and excellent communication and organizational skills. Duties will include but are not limited to: initiating the referral by contacting the insurance carrier, contacting the specialist, contacting the patient, and following up to see that the referral has been kept. The referral specialist plays a key role in helping patients get access to care.
A full-time position is available for a receptionist at Valley Health – Milton. Applicant must have medical experience and excellent communication and organizational skills. Some evening hours are required. Duties will include but are not limited to: answering phones, scheduling appointments, data entry, greeting patients, scanning and general staff support. A full-time position is available for a receptionist at Valley Health – School-Based. The two schools the position will be predominately based out of are Cabell Midland and Huntington High Schools. Applicant must have medical experience and excellent communication and organizational skills. Duties will include but are not limited to: answering phones, scheduling appointments, data entry, greeting patients, scanning, ordering of office supplies, and general staff support.
Valley Health has a full-time position available for a receptionist split between two of our health centers. The position will be based out of Valley Health – Upper Kanawha and Oakwood Road. Applicant must have medical experience and excellent communication and organizational skills. Duties will include but are not limited to: answering phones, scheduling appointments, data entry, greeting patients, scanning and general staff support. Some evening hours are required.
